LIPA PV Rebate Availability
Helping HOMEOWNERS Build a Solar Tomorrow...Today!!
LIPA is currently offering rebates for the installation of Photovoltaic (PV) systems in LIPA's service territory. Starting January 1st, 2008, LIPA will be accepting applications at the rebate level of $3.50 per watt for PV system sizes up to 10 kW. Not For profit, Schools and Government customers are eligible for $4.50 per watt. Please refer to LIPA's Solar Pioneer rebate application and web site for additional rules.Rebate availability is on a first come, first serve basis, based upon application pre-approval by LIPA. The applicant will have 180 days from LIPA's pre-approval letter date to complete the PV installation.
